VISITS TO MUSEUMS

Rafael Larco Herrera Museum

You will be picked up from your hotel, then we will head out to the traditional neighborhood of Pueblo Libre, where we can appreciate the best collection of pre-Columbian pottery, which has been remodeled and reorganized representing a chronological order of the different cultures of the Coast and the Mountain Range. This museum is not only visited by tourists or students, but also by researchers, because despite the time, it remains useful in their research. At the end of the visit you may access the collection of erotic pottery, unique in its kind, where we can understand that even though the Peruvian culture had no written means of communication, they still expressed their everyday life through ceramic pottery, like illnesses, deformities and moods.
