The tour starts in the client’s hotel to an adventure to get to know the capital, its architecture and its traditions, which has been contributing to the shape of many neighborhoods day by day.
The tour starts in the Miraflores neighborhood with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean from El Parque del Amor. We will then continue to the modern neighborhood of San Isidro with its traditional park El Olivar and its large traditional Tudor-style houses, where we can see the influence of the British Colony in this zone of the city. The tour continues to downtown Lima, where we can appreciate the colonial architecture, the balconies of Arabian influence which decorate city of Lima and the beautiful large colonial houses, which forms part of the Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
We will continue to the traditional neighborhood of Pueblo Libre, where we can appreciate the best collection of pre-Columbian pottery, which has been remodeled and reorganized representing a chronological order of the different cultures of the Coast and the Mountain Range. This museum is not only visited by tourists or students, but also by researchers, because despite the time, it remains useful in their research. At the end of the visit you may access the collection of erotic pottery, unique in its kind, where we can understand that even though the Peruvian culture had no written means of communication, they still expressed their everyday life through ceramic pottery, like illnesses, deformities and moods.
